The International Christian School (ICS) hosted InterCAS 2025: a pioneering platform that connected the talent of students from more than 10 public and private schools with representatives of the business world to present projects of social and environmental impact. Organized by Fundación IB Compass in partnership with Fundación Demain, this gathering showcased how public–private collaboration accelerates sustainable innovation.
Each proposal was designed around the Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) pillars and evaluated by a mixed panel of educators and corporate executives. All projects sought to address a need in the communities where their schools are located.
Sharing learning and evaluation spaces with corporate leaders strengthens inclusion and gives young people real opportunities for mentorship, internships and access to seed funding.
Direct interaction with business leaders not only helped students refine their presentations but also enabled them to understand how these efforts align with corporate responsibility strategies, operational-risk reduction and shared-value creation. As sustainability consultant Luis Mastroeni commented: Luis Mastroeni, commented:
“When companies and communities work hand in hand with the energy of students, proposals emerge that reinforce the territory and mitigate impacts around business operations.”
Thanks to the companies that agreed to be part of the event:
InterCAS 2025 was more than an academic fair: it was an incubator of young leadership and a co-creation space where student ideas can scale into tangible projects. At Demain Foundation, we celebrate this joint effort and reaffirm our commitment to continue supporting initiatives that promote quality education, social innovation and environmental protection.
